Hitch hiking is great because you can practice your Spanish, make new friends and enjoy all types of weather. When it started to rain our new friends in the truck passed large plastic sheets out the window in order to help protect us from the rain. They even bought us liches (the fruit pictured below) from a stand on the side of the road. These are just a few of the reasons I think that everyone should hitch hike at least once in their life. The end.
