I'm sad because I added captions by each of the pictures below but they didn't appear.. umm. Anyway, the volcano is in La Fortuna Arenal: Costa RIca. The volcano is always active and an amazing sight to see at night when the lava rolls down the sides. The waterfall is also in La Fortuna Arenal. We put on our gym shoes anticipating an intense hike to the waterfall but were under whelmed when it only took 15 minutes. We still thought it would be a good idea to go for a swim following our exhausting hike.

Welcome to San Jose. Megan looks like she is marching - she needs a little more spring in her bounce.

Update

I am aware of the fact that I have not posted since Christmas; however with time the things that once seemed so foreign have become my life. I have not given up on the adventure of travel or experiencing new things but I have not been diligent with my blog postings.
Highlights since Christmas:
1. Recruiting Trip to the States.
2. Art Show. [two of my students received 1st place awards]
3. Semana Santa [translation: Holy Week]
I will post some pictures from our semana santa road trip.
